Bunk Beds!

The girls have been in their bunk beds for a few weeks now, and they're loving it! These were Chad & Clint's when they were young! we sanded them down and painted them off white. They turned out great! So I thought I would put some pictures of them on here.

They've also been playing with the slip & slide ALOT this summer! They like to put the little tikes slide at the top then slide down & onto the slip & slide and into the pool at the end. They're at such fun ages...then there's a pic of Abbi holding baby Jack, Kelsey reading to her brother and sister, and one where Kelsey fell asleep reading a book & it fell on her face! She is growing up so fast...where is time going?? She'll start 2nd grade in just a week & a half!! WOW! Well, it had been a long time since I wrote on here, so just thought I'd show some pic's of our summer! Love you all!! Kristy

Florida 5/07

Hey all... I just wanted to post some pics highlighting our summer. In May, Klint & I went to Florida with Andy & Jenna S. I may have already posted a few pictures from that...I don't remember. Anyway, here are a couple

The "NEW APARTMENT"

Thanks to my mother-in-law and sister-in-law we finished painting our bedroom and kitchen. As you can see, Holly's great artwork is the diamonds above my sink. As most of you know I'm sure, the red was interesting to paint. We openend the can to find it very very pink, (this is the second can of paint--I took back the first) but once we put the primer on and let the paint dry it turned out the perfect red color for my kitchen.
The other task was the bedroom. We painted it this cool aqua blue...sorry the odd picture but it's the only picture that really showed off the blue well.
So after this, my goal is to find an idea for my dining room (I have a 1/2 can of red and 1/2 can of white to use) and then use mom and dad's paint from the hallway in the study....though I don't know that it will cover, so I need to come up with a plan to do either stripes or squares or something different with tan and green...any ideas?

Jackson Timothy!!!

I (Sarah) actually haven't seen Jack yet, but Dad, Mom, and Seth had a chance yesterday. They said he is beautiful and from these pictures I agree! Congrats Tim & Christa!!

Thought you may enjoy the beauties of the before and after pictures of our apt. Aaron and I are now feeling pretty "settled" in our apt here in Chicago and love all the excitement of the city.Here's our living room after move-in day...
And now today (like my new couch?) oh, and note grandma's carpet from the basement on the floor, it fit perfectly!
Joe had amazing endurance in the many trips up our creaky old stairs.

We had a fun weekend with Tim & Christa. We met U Mark & A Barb in Ft Wayne Sat night for supper...it was fun! I'm glad it worked out, guys! So, I thought I'd post some pic's from the weekend. (esp. since U Mark said 'you'd better put these on the blog') So here you are guys, they turned out good. I'll post those next...

Whirlwind of a Trip

Hello ladies,
Life's been a bit crazy (the best kind of crazy) the last two weeks. The day after graduation and Aaron and I headed to Toronto with his parents and younger bro. This picture is of Spencer and Aaron laying on the glass floor of the CN tower. Note, those scared of heights don't read the next line...nothing like looking down thousands of feet over the city. Actually I couldn't bring myself to walk on it until Aaron picked me up and put me on it (he had to carry Kristen onto it too!) Toronto is a great place to visit, if you want a fun weekend vacation give us a call we'll give you some tips for there.
Then we headed to the Ozarks with my fam, stopping in Taylor to visit Amber and Tim. We had a great time in the Ozarks skiing, tubing, swimming, laying out...and generally relaxing. Aaron and I were extrememly sore after our successful venture to slolam (spelling?) ski.


Then from there we drove out to Kansas, stopping one night each in Kansas City, Sabetha, and Wichita for church.
Then drove to my parents and are now in Chicago for one of Aaron's classes before heading home to Detroit...whew! It was really nice though meeting his family. Most of them I had either not met at all or only met at the wedding, so it was good to be able to see and visit with them.
Well, hope things are going well with everyone else....I'd love to see some pics or here from you on the blog! Please?

Meet Dr. Plattner

I would like to present Dr. Plattner. Aaron Graduated June 5th and will start his residency on July 1st. We'd appreciate your prayers as we move to Chicago the last week of June.
